We both woke up a little worse for wear after all the Raki last night – but we had to finish it.
Luckily there was an plentiful and delicious buffet breakfast laid on at the hotel.

Back in the room we finished packing and had a last sit out on the balcony, looking over the orange trees.

Shortly after breakfast Nicola had to leave to get her flight back to Germany. It was sad saying goodbye but I’m sure they’ll be more adventures soon.
After Nicola left I wandered into the city centre via some of the less salubrious back streets.

I sat in the park and read for a bit before making my way to Mon Cherie Cafe for a toasted sandwich and a coffee.
Back at the hotel I sat out in the sunshine and played with the cats.

Mid afternoon I got my taxi to the airport. There was a lot of traffic on the roads but I had left plenty of time.
At the airport I wandered through the shops and bought some Raki at duty free.

I treated myself to a Kalciono wudy, which is a bit like pizza. It was pretty tasty.

And then it was time to say goodbye to Albania and board my Ryanair flight back to Manchester.
